Camilo Restrepo

Born in Medellín (Colombia), I live in France since 1999. I make films at the crossroads of documentary, performance and experimental cinema.

My films have been selected for major international film festivals: the Quinzaine des cinéastes in Cannes, the Berlinale, New Directors / New Films, Viennale, the Locarno, Toronto, Rotterdam and New York festivals. They have received numerous awards, including the Locarno Festival’s Pardino d’argento in 2015 and 2016, and the Best First Film award at the Berlinale in 2020.
